The Common Admission Test (CAT) for MBA was conducted on December 4. The results for the same will be released in the second week of January(As per our sources it would be declared by Monday, 9th January 2017). 

Around 2,32,434 lakh candidates took the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2016, which was conducted in two separate sessions. This year, IIM Bangalore was the convener of CAT 2016.

CAT undoubtedly is the biggest admission test for MBA in India.CAT scores are used for admission process at all 20 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), and various other Top B-schools across the country.


The 180-minute test is divided into three sections, Verbal and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. Candidates will be provided with four scaled scores. One will be the overall score, and three separate scores for each section.
